Thurman Moore

Guys,

Since this years reunion my immediate family has gone through some family problems which we are trying to handle. While our attending this years reunion my daughter-in-law fail tragically ill. We didn’t know at the time how serious it was until we returned home. I in turn had to go to Conyers, Ga. to help out with my son and grandson, until the emergency was over. We are still watching very closely our daughter-in-law’s health and monitoring how my son and grandson is taking it.

According to her doctors if she had waited another 2-3 minutes before getting to emergency room, she would not have made it. She is now home and resting.

Needless to say, we are very nervous over this and I’ve neglected my responsibilities and will try and get them caught up, now that I’m back home and we are not jumping every time the phone rings or our cell phones go off. I hope to be back on track as soon as this weekend.

  1. May God bless you and your family, Thurman. I will keep you and them in my prayers. You have done such phenomenal work keeping your board going for all of us. It’s one the best, if not the best resource I know of for finding information. We can never thank you enough for what you’ve created here. I believe all of us will cut you the slack you need to see to your family issues. Semper Fi Brother….positive thoughts and sincere prayers for you and your family.

  2. Thurman,
Thank you for such a detailed explanation for not keeping up with the battalion usual order of business, but it is my opinion this was not at all necessary. After all, as difficult is things may be, there is a life beyond the battalion.
My prayers are with you and your family. Should there be anything I can do to assist in your normal work load, please don’t hesitate to ask.
    Respectfully,

  4. Thurm – Was just on the website and read about your daughter-in-law. Sending you and your family hopes and prayers for her speedy recovery.
Sorry I haven’t communicated with you or pretty much anyone from Delta in a long time. Say hi to Elliott and McCall for me. Gunny McCall really was helpful in helping me with getting the VA paperwork completed and sent in a couple of years ago.
If I can be of any help while your getting squared away, please let me know. I’m not too fast on a computer anymore, but if there is something
I can help with, just let me know.

All the best & Merry Christmas to all my Delta brothers.
