Reunion - Branson, Missouri - August 18 thru 22, 2004 The Reunion for this year being held at the Ramada Inn of Branson, Missouri during 18-22 August 2004 is coming along very nicely. As of to date, 30 April 2004, there are 33 guys signed up on the web site to attend. I contacted the hotel and there are 5 guys with reservations at the Ramada Inn. From the looks of it we're going to have a pretty good turn out this year. There is still time, if you haven't mad your reservations or made up your minds to attend. You have until 19 June 2004 to make your reservations at our reduced price. I've been asked who and where do you send your check or money orders too. This is the first year we are not collecting monies for the reunion. You can fill out the form from the newsletter or on the web site and send it directly to the Ramada Inn in the name of the 1st Battalion 4th Marines Reunion. Or you may contact the Ramada Inn directly by phone 800-641-4106 and ask for the person handling the 1st Battalion 4th Marines Reunion, they will take all the information over the phone. There is also a FAX number than can be used for those who wish to FAX their information - 417-339-3046. There was a mistake on the original form to be sent in. One the original form it was asked for a fee of $43.00 for bus fare, this was to be omitted. There will be no bus for us at this time, so please disregard the information pertaining to the bus. The correct form is on the web site. For all of you who are flying into the Branson area**, the closest air field to Branson is Springfield, Missouri. Springfield is about 30-35 miles north of Branson, Missouri. I'm trying to get a reduced price for car rentals from the Springfield Airport to Branson. At this time the rates being quoted are too high and can be lowered. I have someone working on a better deal than what I was quoted but I have to have the names of all those who are flying into Springfield or who would like to rent a car upon reaching Branson. Anyone wishing to rent a car at Springfield or Branson, Missouri please let me know. I will need your name, date of arrival and departure, place of rental, such as Branson or Springfield Airport. Please pass this on to all thos you know what are planning on attending the Reunion this year.
