Change to Newsletter

1st Battalion 4th Marines Association Board Meeting - Held 5 August 2005 at Colorado Springs, Colorado

During the recent Board Meeting the Battalion Newsletter was one of the topics of discussion.  The discussion included the cost of the newsletters layout, printing, labeling, mailing and time shared to put it all together and it's impact upon the newsletter budget.  All this was brought forward as to the cost of supplying the newsletter to all members of the Battalion and not just the Association Members.

The newsletter is now being provided to only the Association Members as part of their Annual or Life Memberships.  It was brought forth and passed by the board to bring to the membership the proposal of the Battalion Newsletter being mailed out to others regardless of their Association Membership for an annual cost of $7.00. 

On 6 August it was brought before the membership and passed that we will now send out newsletters to anyone signed onto the 1st Battalion 4th Marines web site for the fee of $7.00 annually.  If there is anyone who wishes to be included in the Battalion Newsletter mailing list please contact Brad J. Bennett with the following information.
