It’s been many years now, and I can’t remember many names of my fellow Marines. I’m trying to locate my Marine brothers that served in “D” Co 1/4 3rd Mar Div. I was in country from July 67′ to August 68. I would like to hear from those that spent the hellish night of 2 Feb 68′ at the Cam Lo HQ during the TET Offensive . I’m former Corporal John W. Barton, M-60 squad leader of Wpns Plt. It was getting too dark outside to return to Dong Ha, so we stayed the night at the compound, not knowing what was ahead of us a few hours later when a very large NVA attack occurred We will always remember our fallen brother Cpl Larry Maxim. B 1/4 from July of 64 until Dec 65 ….Hawaii —Oki—–(Nam all with 2nd Plt….Lt Hitchens plt c.o. & Sgt Jackson (KIA , Jan 17 …66 ) any body still around from that time…….also the picture on 1/4 web site with the Marine facing to our left looks like Charles R Steves ????2nd Plt B 1/4 65 & 66 ????
