Adrian, thanks for replying back. Hope you and your family are doing well. I can’t even remember our setup at Chu Lai base. I have not heard from anyone from my company. What I am trying to find out is if this dream(nightmare) that I still have on my mind actually happened, after 55 years. We have guard duty around the perimeter of chu lai at night, and a Marine gets shot in the mouth by a vietcong. Don’t know what month that happened, if it happened. Do you recall an incident like that happening.

Trying to get in contact with Marines that were in Chu Lai, May 7, 1965. I believe that we were on the USS Princeton when we landed.
I was in Vietnam beginning in July 1965; was with Charlie Company, 1/4.
