Artillery/Naval Gunfire

1. Artillery.  On 082000H, 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines FSCC assumed Regimental FSCC duties for the 4^th Marines TAOR while Regimental FSCC was on Operation Florida.  On 121600H, 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines FSCC returned Regimental FSCC duties for the 4^th Marines TAOR to Regimental FSCC when they returned from Operation Florida.

On 16 June the FSCC team from 2^nd Battalion 4^th Marines was transferred to 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines and Golf Battery 3^rd Battalion 12^th Marines was put in direct support of 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines.

At 1800H on 24 June the FSCC of 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines assumed regimental FSCC duties in the 4^th Marines rear CP, while the forward CP of the 4^th Marines was participating in Operation Jay.
