Air Support – February 1966

Air Support/Defense

  1. Air Support.  Air support requirements during the month of February consisted mainly of helicopter resupply.  Aircraft availability was lower in February then in previous months; probably due to MAG-36 commitments to other operations.  All emergency evacuation requests were fulfilled promptly. Approximately 9 per cent of all air support requests were not filled.
