- General
- With a continuing shortage of spare parts, communication equipment is in reasonably good condition. The Battalion received six (6) AN/PRC-25’s for operational use. Proper first and second echelon maintenance is being enforced and performed and a keen awareness of the equipment, both operationally and monetarily, exist.

- Operations
- The Battalion participated in two battalion (-) operations in which the radio set AN/PRC-25 was used. Operating at extended ranges and using both AN/PRC-25s and AN/PRC-10’s on some nets, communications remained constant and reliable.
