- Replacements.
- Joined 11 USMC Officers, 550 USMC Enlisted, 0 USN Officers, 3 USN Enlisted.
- Shortages of Officers remain critical; a total of twelve Officers is required to bring the Battalion up to T/O. There is an Enlisted shortage in the 01 field with ten needed to bring the Battalion up to T/O. There is a shortage of Enlisted in the MOS 0369 with twenty needed to bring the Battalion up to T/O. There is an Enlisted shortage in MOS 0351 with 53 needed, and MOS 3371 with 6 needed to bring the Battalion up to T/O.
- Disciplines, Law and Order.
During the period covered, there were two Special Courts-Martial completed and three Special Courts-Martial pending.
- Prisoners of War. None
- Graves Registrations. None
- Morale and Personnel Services.
- State of Morale is excellent. All hands in the rear have utilized PX facilities. The Battalion promoted one to Gunnery Sergeant, two to Staff Sergeant, 36 to Corporal, 100 to Lance Corporal and 13 to Private First Class. R&R was not utilized during the month. Postal services continue to be satisfactory.

8 Personnel Procedures.
During the period covered, the Battalion was located at the Dong Ha Combat Base. As shown in paragraphs 1.b and 2.a the Battalion increased in Officer strength by 7, and in Enlisted Strength by 203.
- Interior Management.
At the end of the period the Battalion was quartered in GP tents. However, during the beginning of the period covered, the Battalion lived in Ely huts.
- Civilian Employees.
At present there are no Vietnamese civilians employed by this Battalion.
