- During the period 1 March through 3 March 1967, available sick bay facilities remained the same as during the previous month.
- Throughout this period the USS Iwo Jima continued to serve as the hospital ship for Battalion Landing Team 1/4.
- Routine sick call was secured during this period; nine patients were seen in dental sick call.
- No significant medical disease entities were encountered during this period.
- There were no cases of malaria, heat exhaustion or immersion foot.
- Available medical officers remained numerically the same as in the previous month; six-hospital corpsmen lost as combat casualties during the previous month were not replaced during this period.
- The following numbers of casualties were received aboard the USS Iwo Jima during this period:

All casualties were Marines; no Navy personnel, Viet Cong or Vietnamese civilians were received during this period.
