Chaplain Services – June 1968

 

Religion

  1. Catholic Mass was provided for the Battalion while it was in the field for the month of June.
  2. Total attendance for Sunday Catholic Masses for June was 162.  Total attendance for daily Catholic Masses for June was 250.
  3. Protestant Services were provided for the Battalion while it was in the field for the month of June.  Services were held once by a Lay Leader and once by the Regimental Chaplain of the Fourth Marines, Cdr. J. W. Cohill.
  4. Total attendance for Protestant Divine Services for the month of June was 89.
  5. Last Rites were administered in the field by the Battalion chaplain to the members of the Battalion killed and wounded during the operation.
