Artillery/Naval Gunfire

1. Artillery.  From 1 September until 5 September FSCC, 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines was in the field conducting a Reconnaissance in Force.

On 5 September FSCC, 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines assumed control of the Dong Ha TAOR. This control was relinquished on 8 September.

On 8 September FSCC, 1^st Battalion 4^th Marines left of the field and operated the rest of the month.
