Personnel and Administration
- General. During the reporting period, the Battalion’s administration section was located at Dong Ha. At the close of the reporting period, each rifle company averaged 38 men below manning level and 150 were in a non-effective status. This Battalion is currently 13 officers below M/L in the 0302 MOS and still has a critical shortage of 0402.

- Promotions. During the month 62 Lance Corporals were promoted to Corporal, 136 Privates First Class were promoted to Lance Corporal and 20 Privates were promoted to Private First Class. Two Corporals were meritoriously promoted to Sergeant.
