Training

1. During the month of January, no training was conducted on the Battalion level due to operational commitments.  Company level training was devoted to Map reading and the use of the compass, maintenance of weapons, individual equipment and General Military Subjects.
2. All replacements received indoctrination briefings in accordance with the Battalion SOP for replacement training each replacement fired his T/O weapon for familiarization.  During the latter part of January, the 81mm mortar platoon conducted extensive training for new replacements.
